Floyd....Gettin Above It's Raisin's

Yep.  First the music festival.  Then none other than Joe (Chains) Biden shows up at the Country Store in Floyd.  Just wanted to get some ice cream and learn the local folks some politics.   Joe was at Floyd Fest also.....but of course in disguise.  See if you can pick him out of my pics.

A few more interesting views found at  Floyd Fest 11 (as in 11 years).  Not quite Bonnaroo yet, but  just as much fun.   A camera is made for people watching.

PINK FLOYD

The 11th annual Floyd music festival was a people watchers super bowl (not to mention the fantastic music...Jackson Browne, Allison Krouse, Bruce Hornsby, etc).  So here are a few of the locals and performers enjoying there time together.  I threw in a few scenics of the countryside that I took on the drive to the site just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
