MAINLINING 2

I wanted to put a few more Maine pics on this site.  Most of these are of the coastline and inland lakes or rivers........water.  The most striking thing about this series to me is the great variability in the lighting values and contrast between the shots.  Learning to see and capture light in it's many forms is central to interesting photography.  The final shot shows Lourdes and I enjoying the light on a sunny day.

Mainlining

What is the best way to avoid Virginia's record heat and storms......run away to Maine.  Camping for a week near Acadia NP is just what I needed to get the photographic juices flowing again.  This area is special for hiking, biking, kayaking, pictures,and nice people.  The tourists are sometimes overwhelming though, as shown in the last shot of them sunning on a beach.
